History of Flanders Carpets
Flanders Carpets was established in 1973 by Jack and Gloria Flanders, as Flanders Contract Carpet. Jack had recently retired from the coast guard and they decided to settle in Charleston, SC. In 1974, as the business grew, Mike Flanders, their son and Becky, his wife joined the team. Within another year Pat Stutts, Jacks niece was hired to work in the expanding business.
After growing and nurturing Flanders Contract Carpets for 17 years, Jack & Gloria decided to retire and pass the business on to Mike and Becky becoming Flanders Carpets, "The Next Generation."
